Age Verification Policy

Circle Royale is restricted to users aged 18 years and older. This policy explains the measures we take to enforce this requirement, as required by Apple App Store and Google Play Store guidelines for social casino applications.

1. MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT

Circle Royale is a social casino application rated for users aged 17+ on the Apple App Store and with a Mature content rating on Google Play. Our own policy sets the minimum age at 18 years, which is the legal adult age in most jurisdictions where the app is available.

By using Circle Royale, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. IN-APP AGE GATE

On first launch, before any game content is displayed, Circle Royale shows a mandatory age verification screen that:

Requires the user to enter their date of birth (day, month, year)
Blocks access to the app if the entered date of birth indicates the user is under 18
Displays clear play-money disclosures and links to Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Responsible Play policy
Cannot be bypassed or skipped

The date of birth entered is used only to compute age. It is not stored or transmitted after the check completes.

3. PLATFORM-LEVEL CONTROLS

In addition to our in-app gate, age restrictions are enforced at the platform level:

Apple App Store: Circle Royale is rated 17+ and restricted by Apple's age rating system. Users with Family Sharing parental controls set below 17+ cannot download the app.
Google Play: The app carries a Mature content rating. Google Play's Family Link parental controls can prevent download on supervised accounts.

4. PURCHASE CONTROLS

All in-app purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play, both of which require account authentication before any purchase. Parental purchase controls on both platforms can prevent unauthorized purchases by minors.

We recommend parents enable purchase restrictions on any device accessible to minors:

iOS: Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases
Android: Play Store → Settings → Family → Parental Controls

5. REPORTING UNDERAGE USERS

If you believe a minor is using Circle Royale, please contact us immediately at support@circleroyale.com. We will investigate and, if confirmed, immediately:

Terminate the account
Delete all associated personal data
Process any refund requests for purchases in accordance with platform refund policies

6. REGIONAL AVAILABILITY

Circle Royale may not be available in all countries or regions. We configure regional availability in the App Store and Google Play to comply with local laws regarding social casino applications. Users in restricted regions will not be able to download the app.
